What messages?
Messages record conversations between you and us. A new message is created when you contact us and can be viewed and updated online and by email.
Why?
-
Openness and accountability
We can't pretend we didn't say something.
-
Convenience
Full access to all conversations between you and us at any time.
-
Because it helps
We all forget things from time to time.
What is a message number and key?
Every message has a unique number to identify it. A message also has a key, to keep the contents safe. You need the correct key to access a message.
A key is a long sequence of letters and numbers, much like a password. For example: 08ad4735ce1f42f3ace2dffab076f3fd.
The number and key are included at the top of an automated response sent out when you contact us. You will need to enter these details when opending a message to view or update it.
You can reply directly to the automated response. For this to work, you shouldn't change the message number and key in the message subject.
